He'd be at best 3rd string this year. He's rated about average among the DL
players on our roster. I'm wondering if the transfer is PT related as it appears he may not be in line to get significant PT for a couple of years. Won't really impact depth this year but he could've been someone nice to have 2-3 years down the line.

#BYU redshirt freshman defensive end Hirkley Latu has entered the NCAA's transfer portal.
Latu was a three-star recruit coming out of Kahuku High in Hawaii in the class of 2016.
