This always hurts (just not this year). Now it's possible that he was never
going to pan out at BYU (for whatever reason). I mean, BYU is a strange/unique place that doesn't work for everyone. If he recognized that and just wants to move on, I think that is great for him.

#BYU redshirt freshman defensive end Hirkley Latu has entered the NCAA's transfer portal.
Latu was a three-star recruit coming out of Kahuku High in Hawaii in the class of 2016.
