Dwight Howard has to be one of the most under-achieving players in NBA history. 6'11" and 275 pounds, with a 7'5" wingspan and a 40-inch vertical jump, absolutely freakish athlete with all the tools to be a Hall of Famer.

Instead, he has just kicked around the league the past 5 years, basically irritating every team he plays for, and occasionally playing like the All-Star that he used to be (whenever he bothers to try hard, apparently). Such as waste.
