I've known a few Ute fans, especially in 2010, as they were headed to the PAC. Super obnoxious. They were probably obnoxious because the years of being little brother to BYU were OFFICIALLY over. That is not going to change unless there is something monumental for BYU's program. I've always applied the lesson from Groening and it just work. In fact, I've noticed that level of Ute idiocy wain quite a bit over the years--living here in Utah. That is because their program has been blessed by affiliation with PAC, whether or not it was deserved. Yet, some BYU fans jump right into the little brother pants and it is just pathetic. Football/sports outcomes are completely outside of your control and to get bent out of shape is just the dumbest.

Also, let's not hate people because they maybe subscribe to a lifestyle that is not aligned with the BYU honor code or the Gospel of Jesus Christ (whatever debauchery they embrace) I would love for anyone to cheer for BYU, I don't care if they sin differently than me. People can change. Give them the opportunity to change, don't hate them like that.

I love that Utah is still a rival, it's fun to have a huge game to watch. I hope BYU plays an awesome game and beats Utah by several touchdowns and the Utes get shut out. That outcome is just so unlikely.
