I tried Willow Park but they want $65 to reserve a pavilion and that just seems absurd to me.

Did your YM use all of their budget last year? Our ward always seemed to have excess come December.

Or go to walmart and spend $65 on a portable fire pit and then you have one for use in someone's yard...

How many YM? If not too many, see if someone has a fire pit in yard. We had as many as 30 use our yard fire pit.
