The overtime gave the offense some much needed red zone experience and success. Nice to see that it only took 3 plays for each touchdown. Success breeds more success.
The RPO that Zach has struggled to make good decisions with will help him make better choices in the long run. He gained an immense amount of maturity in a situation where he wanted to win the game so badly that he chose the run option rather than try to be a hero. Huge.
Yes it was an ugly game, but didn’t we see some of what we know is potentially there, especially in the second half?
Even if Tennessee can’t get this figured out, it is always fun to see 2-3 stars beat 4-5 stars...
