I’m wearing my BYU shirt. Owner starts to bemoan the number of highly touted athletes and high paid coaches, yet they are 0-2. Then he starts going off on how much “we paid those teams.” Apparently GA St got $950k. “I don’t know what we paid BYU, but I know we have to pay to get smaller schools to come play us.”

I paused. I explained it was a home-and-home and that UT will one day be in Provo. Shock!

I left it there (food hadn’t been served 😬) and spared him the grief of knowing BYU has more students.
