He's right it will be a cupcake game. I know we're excited about the W saturday
but let's not delude ourselves. We needed a miracle and double OT to beat a team that lost to an FCS team the week before us. Our offense can't score, our defense can't get off the field, we don't pressure quarterbacks and we don't stop the run or pass particularly well unless it's 4th and 1.
Meanwhile USC beat the likely MWC champs with ease and made a top 25 stanford team look silly after the first quarter. Heck the USC D pitched a shutout in the 2nd half while piling 21 points on.
It's gonna be a long afternoon on primetime for us cougs. That said, maybe USC will have an off game and give us a shot at keeping it competitive. We can hope!
