for all involved, as I think he was getting burned out at BYU and needed a change of scenery.
But I sure wouldn't mind borrowing him this week as BYU's defensive coordinator as scheming for less experienced QB's seemed to be one of his greatest strengths.
I remember how utterly confused Brady Quinn of Notre Dame looked when BYU beat them in 2004. The same goes for Matt Leinhart of USC when BYU almost beat them in 2003 (and the game wouldn't have been close otherwise) as well as Joshn Rosen of UCLA in 2015.
I also remember him doing it to BYU when he was at New Mexico, specifically the 2002 game against an inexperienced Matt Berry.
I think giving USC's young QB a bunch of different looks is just about BYU's only chance on Saturday (if BYU stays vanilla all game, I think it will get ugly).
