The most recent recruiting rankings have the SEC conference with the number 2,4,5,8,14,15 ranked classes. The PAC’s top ranked class is Oregon at NUMBER 16!! The SEC has 6 teams ranked ahead of the mighty pac!
I’ve been impressed with what utah has done in conference lately... but if we have to pump the breaks on BYU’s accomplishment last weekend in SEC country - then let’s do the same with the PAC’s similar issue at the conference level. You start to understand why the PAC doesn’t have a team in the playoffs as frequently as the real P5 conferences.

Better athletes at utah over Tennessee- nope. Vol’s classes have been ranked in top 25 last five years. Their issue is coaching, doesn’t mean BYU went against lower competition and a case could be made they had better athletes top to bottom than utah but lacked the coaching.
