BYU has lost at least 3 players the last 2 offseasons because they couldn’t make grades to stay eligible. So some guys get in like that, then can’t play, and then can’t go elsewhere because they aren’t eligible to play so other schools don’t want them either.

I think BYU is right to make exceptions but not for every player.
