It was definitely one of the better DC movies. However it was way too dark for kids which is kind of ironic because that seems to be the target audience.

I also couldn't get over how his mom just abandoned him when he was lost. It just didn't seem plausible to me that she thought the police would do a better job taking care of him than she could. That bothered me.

Also, this movie was a reminder that being a foster parent is one of the toughest jobs in the world.
