The USC guy had the inside track to the ball and Empey just shoved him around and stole the ball from him.

I think USC ended up punting on the series after we forced a 3 and out. If they had first and 10 from their own 16 it could have been a much different outcome.

They would have gone up 24-17 with a lot of mojo. Sure, there was still a lot of football to play still. But I think the effort on that play by Empey was huge.
