Thing is, you’d need a lot of tech around the chip to triangulate the location
to that level of accuracy. You’d almost need a grid of sensors embedded under artificial turf for it to work. Or maybe a drone that flies directly above the ball. Either way, with a tiny chip you’re not going to have much transmitting power so the receiver would need to be close by.
