I mean, I know at my work when they're doing my review, they say. "Elvis, hold on. I know you have worked here and this is what you have chosen as your life's work, but we have some guys who would like to give their advice on if you should a: keep your job or b: be fired. We like to let them come in anonymously and just let loose." What...??? That is ... kinda crazy.

You are accountants, engineers, developers, AIOPS guys, teachers, Uber drivers, maybe even some lawyers and doctors thrown in...a dentist here and there...Some of you played high school football--most of you didn't. Very few of you played college football. Or have ever even coached college football.

But, man, you are excellent evaluators of talent. And, of complexity and the nuances of recruiting, planning, and running a multi-million dollar operation. You know "Experts of BYU Coaching"

Your own work budget is less than BYU's football budget, and your household budget is run by your wife, but, shhh, we won't tell.

Haha. I am a fan. I was against Bronco at the end, because he lost his desire to be in "it" at BYU. I live away from the Happy Valley bubble. Back when he had firesides, I would attend. I saw him. By the time we had gone independent, he couldn't even mask his dislike for the situation he was in. Kudos to his personal integrity. Never questioned that. But, he wanted no mas...

Just some advice that if you have to choose a "battle", do it over something you know about. Flame away.
