1/2 of my route home is deer territory with 1/4 of it in elk territory. Where a deer may total a car, an elk can kill you. Doesn't help that there is no cell service either.

Late night starts mean traveling when they are most active. The USC game, on the other hand, even with overtime and eating a nice dinner afterwords, we didn't get home until just before they become active.
