1) A lot of love for the tough catches by Shumway and Romney, but I haven't seen a lot of props for Milne's TD catch. That was one of the better throw/catch combos I've seen from BYU in quite a while. Milne was absolutely blanketed - the defender had perfect coverage. Wilson dropped the ball in perfectly and Milne made an awesome catch. Great play all around.

2) One of the impressive things about the defense this year has been the "interchangeability" of the players. During one of the key final drives for USC on Saturday (when we were trailing 24-20), Tonga wasn't even on the field, and Fautea stepped up and controlled the line of scrimmage. Devin Kaufusi barely played, Isaiah Kaufusi gets dinged and misses the 2nd half.......next man up. Go back and watch the final play of the game - who was playing Strong Safety? Beau freaking Tanner. Guys are getting coached up and doing their jobs even when the starters go out. It's a great sign for the rest of the season.
