My take on the Teddy Bridgewater/Taysom Hill issue for New Orleans...
So, Teddy Bridgewater is a much more experienced qb, much less likely to make big mistakes than Taysom Hill. From my limited viewing of Bridgewater though, he does not produce many explosive plays and/or points. He's the guy you want to run the offense if your defense is dominant. Unfortunately, the Saint's defense isn't dominant.

So, why was Taysom still on the field at the end of that game? At first I think they left him on the field for special teams etc. because that is how they practiced, and he might give them a spark. BUT, then I noticed they changed the way they were using Taysom. When the game was clearly out of hand, they put Taysom in at WR full time. He didn't come off the field at all. He was literally in Bridgewater's ear in every huddle.

Why? I wondered. Then it occurred to me, they just want him involved so he is comfortable with the pace and feeling of the game. They are going with Bridgewater fro now, because he's experience the live bullets more at QB, but they want to get Taysom comfortable with offense in case they decide to, or need to use him at QB next week or in the future. It will be interesting to see if they continue to use Taysom that way next week. My guess is he will either get some plays at quarterback next week, because if Bridgewater can't produce, they will want to give Taysom a shot and they want him to be ready.
