I’m sort of neutral about the Toledo game being on espn+, but it does seem like fewer people will actually see the game on that platform.
Is this a test for ESPN to get a sense for how many ESPN+ games to put in the new contract?
I believe everything is heading toward streaming as the future means for tv content, but right now a lot more people would see the game on ESPNU.
I have no problem at all paying $5 to see this game but I don’t think it’s in BYU’s best interest to have too many future games hidden from general viewership.
