Its the way they've played thus far this season. The Utah loss notwithstanding, I've seen a team playing disciplined, assignment sound football.
The team, both coaches and players, have improved each week. They are getting better.
But most importantly I see a team leaving everything out there on the field. They are playing hard for this staff, for themselves and for Cougar Nation.
Win or lose on Saturday, and I think they have a good chance to pull off a third straight upset, I'm proud of this team.
While I agree with Soupie that some of us might be getting ahead of ourselves with the talk of 11-1 and a NY6 game, hey, we're fans. It's ok to dream. I won't allow myself to go there until we make it out of Oct with only one loss, but while the chances of such a season are still small, they are still greater now than it has been in a long time.
Regardless, I'm going to enjoy the ride.
