highlighted someone from history that had a dark side (or just a villainous figure from history). We were given a list of such individuals and then chose from them. My friend and I chose two prominent Nazi leaders, wrote up reports about them, and then prepared a presentation. We had a special evening where parents were invited to come and tour all the kids' exhibits of their person. So my friend and I dressed up like Nazis and in character talked about all the horrors they committed.

I don't think something like that would ever fly today.
