So I'm watching the Dodger game on ESPN
and the bit of trivia is that 58 years ago tonight the Dogers beat the Cubs 3-2 in 13 innings. Koufax pitched all 13 innings and threw 205 pitches!!! Maybe that's why he needed to retire in the prime of his career.
