I wish we would have won, but wasn’t expecting it considering what happened last year vs Washington. The team made a lot of boneheaded mistakes certainly. They needed a flawless game to win, and certainly didn’t get it.
Overall though, I’m not that mad, even disappointed. I think what gives me encouragement is the fact that I see the teams and coaching under Kalani are steadily improving. Last year we couldn’t even move the ball- looked completely incompetent. This year we marched it up and down the field, just were stopped a lot by drops and errors. The coaches actually are putting the players in a position to make plays. It was fun to see Zach hitting his receivers downfield.
The real test of the season will be how we do against the rest of the rest of the schedule, but I like the improvements I see so far this year
