competing with the P5s and the talent gap is really that big that we should be content and happy getting absolutely embarrassed and owned by one on our home field and we should count our blessings that we were even able to break even after 4 games against some P5s that we know at least one is garbage and the others we aren't even sure how good they will end up and we are lucky we even did that, then why don't we just admit we aren't really P5 material and go back down to a G5 conference?

I thought the whole point of Independence was to schedule the best and play the best because we are capable of hanging with them? I thought we were better than a typical G5 and have the right as fans to be upset when we lay a complete egg and we aren't like some lower G5 or FCS school that should just be happy knowing they didn't stand a chance anyway. We can't claim we are P5 material, but then in the same breath talk about how we should just be happy getting completely blown off the field all because they are so much more talented than us and we really have no business competing with them. We can't have it both ways.
