We are a program that does not exist to be competitive. It's not on the goals sheet.
We exist to have nice exhibition games and showcase how nice BYU players and fans are in all the places we travel. Like the Harlem Globetrotters, the program is about good will, not about winning.
And Sitake is the perfect coach for that. Doesn't grind guys down, friendly with everyone. Isn't awkward or standoffish. His role is more ambassador and mentor than competitor, and he's a great fit.
So we get to watch some nice games, play some big name teams in classic locations. It's all warm fuzzies.
I'm done fighting the administration. I'll enjoy what we are for what it is, and simply look elsewhere for competitive football.
