Some, surely. But UW did some brilliant stuff stacking their DE behind the DT
And getting him on the guards 1-1. It gave them a great matchup we couldn’t block to save our lives. That’s coaching; good coaching by UW. Not necessarily bad coaching by us.
Hoge is a road grader but not super quick against a DE that has a full head of steam and he doesn’t get a clean shot at.
They exploited that. I don’t think that’s something we would have seen on tape. So not a lot of chances to coach up against it.
Kalani pulled Herron after the FM penalty. He is working on it and we are getting better IMO.
