Tacoma/Olympia would not make my consideration list for many reasons... my wife is from the Seattle area (although the north side) and we would never live near that city.

As much as I enjoy visiting the rural NoCal areas near Sacramento, there's a reason more than half the people in California want to leave California.

San Antonio is a super cool city and it's not too far from Austin which is one of my favorite cities anywhere.
