You think the president constantly criticizing something and contacting the decision makers
doesn't constitute pressure? Interesting.
If a POTUS calls a company and tells them "you should hire so-and-so" or "you should fire so-and-so", would you find that problematic?
Because that's what Trump did regarding the NFL protestors.
Is China worse? Sure. But that doesn't make the point of this thread invalid: that those that condemn China agree hypocrites if they didn't condemn Trump for also interfering with speech he didn't like.
