That time of year again when we pay lots o' money to walk around a corn field
and pay double market price to pluck a pumpkin from a patch.

We have a friend that works at one and she said a couple years ago the pumpkins didn't grow or whatever due to a drought or something so the owner went and bought thousands of pumpkins and then placed them in the pumpkin' patch. People still paid the freight for being able to pick their own from the field and no one even complained or asked about it.

It's big business now these corn mazes and pumpkin celebration farms and I for one don't get it. It's like a parade to me.
