Braves find themselves in a do-or-die game with the chance to reach their first NLCS since 2001. Here are some first inning highlights:

They walk the other team’s pitcher to force in a run.

They finally struck a guy out to end the inning and...he reaches first base on a wild pitch (and another run scores).

My friend who grew up in Atlanta shared this sarcastic comment after the Braves lost game 4:

Looking forward to game 5!!! I was just thinking this afternoon that it’s been so long since the Falcons and UGA repeatedly ripped my [swear word] heart out and [swear word] on it!! Like a year almost since the last time! I’d like to see another extra-inning, come-from-behind win by the lesser team, but, more poetically, doing it in Atlanta! Maybe invite the ghost of General Sherman, Kirby Puckett, Jim Leyritz, Tom Brady and Nick Saban to throw out the first pitch together!! Boy O boy!”

He called it. Not a come from behind win but this is just as bad in other ways.
