We had borrowed something a couple of days ago from a lady in our ward. I went over there at about 8:45 to return it.

The patio lights were on. I noticed that the lights were dim inside so—figuring their kids were in bed—I knocked on the door lightly.

She answered the door, rolled her eyes at me, grabbed the item I was returning, and slammed the door on me while I was in the middle of thanking her.

Haha. I assume she was just having a bad day, but maybe 8:45 is too late?

I dunno.
