I told my wife about the exchange. She texted to ask if she wasn’t feeling well and if there was anything she could do to help.

She texted back and apologized, said she wasn’t sick, and then said she doesn’t appreciate visitors after 7:30.

We will just let it go with an eye roll, but my theoretical response is that if you’re going to make 7:30 your rule, put up a sign saying as much, and turn off your patio lights.

Oh well.
