Here's how I see the rest of the season going
South Florida and San Diego St. are "push" games. While I think San Diego St. is easily the better team, I also think that, barring signficantly more injuries, BYU actually has a better chance of winning that game than beating South Florida for the following reasons:

- BYU historically plays poorly on the east coast and has never won a game in the state of Florida
- BYU has performed poorly in recent years following bye weeks
- BYU is breaking in an inexperienced QB
- BYU is just in a big funk right now on offense, defense, and special teams
- BYU should have more momentum going into the San Diego St. game (due to the ease of the schedule preceeding it) than they have right now
- BYU has performed relatively well in recent years in the final game of the regular season

Odds are, BYU splits these games.

Boise St. and Utah St. are "should lose" games. BYU's defense is what it is and will likely give up an average somewhere in the 30's to these teams and, against those opponents, I don't think BYU has nearly enough offense to compensate.

Idaho St., Liberty, and UMass are "should win" games. I say should win, because nothing is guaranteed with this coaching staff.

Odd are, the team finishes 6-6. I think this will be enough (barring some huge off the field scandal) for Kalani to get the last year of his contract although it goes without saying that losing to Utah St. for three consecutive years would be a gigantic indictment of the current state of the program.
