Look at this fun map. This is where our conference mates are located. Oh i guess NBD for football and travelling a couple times a season (still would suck majorly to travel to a stadium that holds 30K in a state 2 timezones over for a conference game on a friday night). What about Basketball or Baseball or soccer or any number of olympic sports. You think the WCC is just going to let them stay out of the goodness of their hearts?

You guys honestly think that Hair Thompson is going to let Boise and or UNLV or San Diego State just walk after what happened with BYU, Utah, and TCU leaving? Whats the buyout and timeframe for the MWC? I can imagine its cheap or short. Not to mention the buyout for the AAC is something like 27 months and 20+ million dollars (so that would be fun if we ever wanted to get out)
