We need a conference so desperately. Can you guys not see it?

Every September we play teams out of our leage and end up with one emotionally charged win over a weak P5 team. Then we're completely devasted in terms of depth and lose to absolutely horrible teams. This is because of our front-loading!!

We have to soften the September schedule. 2 P5's? Great. That way we don't completely destroy our players physically and emotionally by October. 

Then we need to be in a conference. So even if we lose a couple of September games, we still have reasons to play! As a fan, I'm already completely checked out of the season. I know they'll lose to Boise State and Utah State. So I'm sure most players feel the same way.

Soften the schedule and get back into a conference! I just can't watch independence anymore. It's the absolute worst.
