BYU should outsource football to UVU and replace it with men’s ncaa soccer
A university as large as BYU needs a men’s soccer team. With all the LDS kids out there playing soccer I’m convinced BYU would have a top team (like the women’s).

This would be possible (via Title IX) because BYU would drop football and outsource it to UVU. It’s just a question of time before a school as large as UVU could take on an ncaa football program. BYU could give them a big head start by sharing football resources (stadium, facilities, personnel, equip). The details could be worked out.

This would be a natural evolution for both BYU and UVU. The old traditional fans would scream with outrage but everyone else would adapt. And as one of the old guys, I’m already very unhappy with and totally pessimistic about the football program. How will it ever change with the internal constraints that exist. Time for a radical change.
