I think one of the biggest telling signs of where the program is at is the botched Matt Gay fiasco. Ignore the fact Utah is involved in this. Here was a kid with a big leg that wanted to play for BYU. By most reports he didn’t even get a look. It was a thanks but no thanks, good luck to you. Now he’s kicking 50 yarders in the NFL. In my opinion a situation like this is unacceptable and tells us a lot about the coaching staff
