When USF was passing our d line’s first move was straight up then no stunts. Just a simple beat your man approach. But pad level was bad and no help or twists.

Once USF abandoned the pass they only ran right. Almost every play was 5 ish. They looked like the Utes out there. We did nothing to stop it until super late, like final drive late. now what I saw on the final scoring drive kills me. The d tackle was gassed ab being blown back 5 wards into the linebackers. Again pad level was bad bad bad.

There is no way the team isn’t seeing this. Tuiaki was supposed to be the genius who taught the Utes about winning the line of scrimmage. If so BYU linemen must be incredibly slow learners.

The TV crew was in Charlie Strongs business about calling time outs when his defense was getting gashed. But they held. Probably because they made adjustments. Ugh I’m so frustrated with the pride of this team and the feeling that all they need to do is their 1/11th, that is such garbage. Why can’t we do what it takes to win. Pay the price. Go for the win instead of feeling like we have to play BYU football. Just win the game.
