Sorry you don't like the facts and think they should be...
something else. I'm sure he would have included the Church missionary program if that was a major objective. Believe what you want so you can continue your rant about the Church not appropiately funding the program.
I listen and/or attend (season ticket holder) all the games. I hear comments from broadcasters about where a player served his mission. Never have I heard a comment that the football program is part of the Church missionary program, much less frequent comments.
Worthern runs the school, not the Church mission program. His focus is where it should be. He also said that the program is strategic to the school and is in no jeopardy so long as it is self-sustaining.
