and having no tangible ring/trophy or award to brag about can reduce their motivation. You, me, Ash, and many others may be internally motivated always wanting to win but there are many athletes that aren’t that way. It can be because it’s come easy for them till now, they’re there for the scholly or just to have had the accomplishment of D1 football and so they feel they’ve arrived, or their parents have been the main motivators their whole lives instead of themselves.
