Yet we have to rely heavily on boosters to pay the coaching staff and still haven't upgraded our facilities, 9 years in. Hmm...

2. "Going back to the MWC would be dumb because our schedules in independence are awesome and give us so much exposure!"

Playing tough schedules is great... if you can win games. I don't know about you all, but I enjoy football a lot more when we're winning. I'm not having fun right now and I'm not going to the next few years either with hiw impossibly hard our schedules are, relative to the quality of our recruiting and coaching.

Independence was only ever going to work if we could improve our recruiting from the MWC days, and we have been unable to do so. It's time to go back to a conference.
