Yesterday I tore my left MCL, grade 1. Two weeks ago same thing on my right knee
I took two weeks off from running and just did stairs at the gym. Ran two days ago and right knee pain came back and yesterday did a big hike and left MCL is strained now too.

What are some good exercises to strengthen my knees?

Any other advice? It’s killing me that I can’t run, but I’m okay doing stairs and might consider elliptical and/or bike. Should probably try swimming too.
