Uruguayan family that only spoke Spanish came in looking for a red, automatic, V6 mustang. We didn't have one in stock, but the lot like 10 blocks away had one. I told my manager that I was going to go get the mustang, he told me to wait and printed off a piece of paper. He told me to have them sign it and not go get the car. He had printed off a contract for a blue, V8, manual mustang. I told him that wasn't what they wanted, he replied "they can't read it, by the time they realize it's not what they want they will already own it". I told him no, he demanded that I go out and do it.
Reluctantly, I walked out with my manager and in Spanish said "this is my manager, he wants me to trick you into buying the wrong car. You should stand up, walk out of here, and go to this dealership and buy it there". They yelled at him in Spanish and walked out. He asked me what happened and I said "they called you a lying sack of crap, and are going to buy the car somewhere else". He started to yell and I just walked out to my car and drove to meet my wife for lunch.
