married lives for me was when we lived 7 minutes from where I worked. I would leave for work ten minutes before 9, come home for lunch 4 times a week, workout and shower at home during lunch twice a week, stay later than everyone and still get home earlier, get home in a jiffy if there was an emergency, run over to the office whenever if I had forgotten something or needed to fit in some additional work when the kids were down. Work life balance was incredible. Now I spend 1-1.5 hours on the road each day. Still good but noticeably lacking some of the prior benefits.
