On the north end is actually national forest. The Sawtooth national forest extends down from Idaho and into that northwest corner of Utah. I’ve been out there and there is some pretty nice forest out there. You have to access it from the north so you drive as if you’re heading to Boise but you turn off towards Snowville and the forest is out beyond that.
