I bought tickets to the Boise St Game a few months ago looking forward to bringing my family to a game at LES.  We are coming from the Seattle area and I want to show my young kids what it was like for me growing up in Utah County.  I've got to say I'm dissapointed...I was at the Tennessee game and enjoyed watching the USC game.  I expected a better scenario on Saturday for sure.  I am also not too excited about the late start time and bad weather.  I should have seen that part coming, I know!  

That being said, experiences like this show me that I really am a BYU fan.  In reality, I probably care too much.  In the end, this is just a game--a great game that I loved playing and love watching.  After all the negativity, criticism, and despair here on CB, I for one am proud to be a Cougar!  I hope they make it a good game and prove the doubters wrong (including myself). 

I guess I probably have some empathy after being part of some losing football teams and my own ameteur coaching experience.  I know it's a business and we shouldn't forego our historically hight BYU fan expectations, but I think some perspective is good.  Let's support Kalani and the team!  What better alternative is there?
