For the fools who try to argue they're doing a public service or are justified.......

UDOT: Speed up or move over!

It may seem strange that the Utah Department of Transportation is telling drivers to speed up, but that is exactly the message they\u2019re sending. That, or get out of the fast lane.

So no, it's not OK to sit and drive the speed limit in the left lane. All it takes is a very basic understanding of traffic flow to understand this, but it seems to still be a problem.

People have too big of egos when they are driving so this doesn't actually work

A lot of times in Salt Lake there is simply too much traffic to designate a lane as fast.
