I'm staying at the Aria in Las Vegas and just got dinged $21.75 for a 1 liter bottle of water from the hotel mini-bar. Had no idea it cost that much, but since I'm here on business its not a big issue.

I've heard about the sensors they have in mini-bars now that detect when you've picked something up, which is what happened here. I was going to put it in the fridge to cool it but read online that they charge a $25/day use fee. Bringing kids to a room like this could be dangerous.

I'm left wondering if I'll get charged for using more than one pillow on the bed.
