"We had decided that we were going into prevent in the fourth quarter. We didn't even slow them down when they easily scored those two TDs and also got a two point conversion, but we were committed to it 100%, and were going to do the same thing again if we punted there. So we knew they were going to score easily again. And so we decided we'd rather try to get half a yard and run out the clock than punt the ball away and lose."
