We may never know that, but he was fully participating in practice...

Which according to the NFL protocol is the penultimate step before being officially cleared to play. The final step would be to be cleared by in independent examination. I don't know if colleges like BYU have the last step performed by independent doctors or by the medical staff.

Either way, I am glad they did not play him on Saturday night.
